My customers, partners and freelancers are in Canada, US, UK, India, Philippines and many other countries.
But we are not in the same time zones.
So when I pick up the phone to call them, is it a good time to call or is it 4am where they are?
4am wake up calls can have a negative effect on your relationships!
Fortunately, I found a free online tool called The Personal World Clock to let me know what time it is around the world.
The Personal World Clock not only has the time for cities around the worlds, you can create your own customized world clock for the cities you use.
When I first started using it, I would just browse or search for the cities I was calling, but now I have set up my own personal world clock with time zones or cities I regularly contact and added a direct link to this page in my FireFox bookmarks.
This makes it a snap to see what time it is overseas. The Personal World Clock service is totally free, so check it out.
